Fleeting India

The small Badami details:

  • the singular wasp in the toilet I say hi to every morning when I squat low

  • The puppy who delays my entrance to the homestay as he nervously approaches and playfully departs

  • The kitten who is such kitten-core, playing with anything that moves. She has grown so much in just two weeks.

fleeting

Yet again I have moved to a new place in India. Much has happened. Time has been occupied. Thoughts are recorded in my journal, but transferring them here is requires time I do not have to spare.

I will inform you that I am doing well. Building fleeting friendships and surely ones that will intersect in uncertain future life paths. The moments are pure. I am learning. Growing. Understanding. A little less confused. A little more confident. Preparing myself to allow roots to attach to some soil… maybe.

I’m in Delhi. The pollution is bad, and we should care more about that.
